Row Row Row Your Boat

I don't have a boat, but I might have to get one soon. This morning we woke up to find several inches of standing water covering the grass outside of our hostel cabin. The sky was dark and fat raindrops were banging off of the tin metal roof so loudly that we had to raise our voices to communicate.

A drainage ditch that runs through the back of the hostel grounds went from dry to raging. I walked barefoot around the town and saw plenty of other visitors hiding under awnings and makeshift umbrellas.

Today is movie day and book day. The bike ride plan has been pushed back until tomorrow.

  1. You had to raise your voice?! Must be a big storm indeed. ;) Hope you've dried out by now!
