After yesterday's 70km bike ride we were perfectly happy to relax for a day. Since the sharks and jellyfish are constant dangers, the town of Airlie Beach was thoughtful enough to put in a freshwater lagoon right at the beach. We spent most of the day throwing the frisbee and soaking up rays through our 30SPF.
A travel agent tipped us to a $10 dinner special at a local bar which included steak, chips (fries) and a pint of beer. We all ate two meals and now we're headed out for some late night drinks. Tomorrow morning we'll get on our Clipper and sail through the Whitsunday Islands for three days.
