Cedar Creek Falls

Still hanging out in Airlie Beach, but after yesterday's rain-induced confinement we woke early and rented bikes for the day.

We road 70km round trip to check out Cedar Creek Falls, which is an oasis in the middle of the forest. Nothing is flat here, so we were challenged by rolling hills and even a couple steepies that we had to walk up. At one point we even had to cross a road that recent rains had flooded. Knee-deep water didn't stop us! (YouTube vid tomorrow)

Tomorrow is our orientation and safety briefing for the boat trip into the Whitsunday Islands, then the boat leaves the morning after.
