Airlie Beach

Another one-street tourist trap filled with trendy boutique shops and restaurants. We are here for the week then will head out to the Whitsunday Islands on Thursday for a three-day sailboat tour. (now sit right back and you'll hear a tail, a tail of a fateful trip...) After that we'll hit Mission Beach and then Cairns.

Last night was rough, a ten hour bus ride that that dropped us here at 7am. Unfortunately check-in wasn't until noon so we got to sit in the lobby for five hours. Blegh.
