Anticipasia

Yesterday we bought our plane tickets. Yes, there is an imaginary hourglass now running in a thought bubble over my head (next to the dim lightbulb) every second of every day until December 1st, the day we leave. Of course, there isn't much that I need to do before I leave. Sell my house? Check. Minimize my possessions? Check. I sold the car, the truck and the boat as well. I'm down to just my bus, my bike and the stuff in a small storage locker that doubles as my bat cave.

So until then I basically just twiddle my thumbs. I submitted my visa application today and should find out in about a week if that gets approved. (it better!) I'm excited, apprehensive and a little scared about this change. The number of unknowns are unknowable (thanks Troy) and it's both thrilling and frightening.
